Welcome to, huntingdawgs.com
it real and in the woods
The Website Administrator
have just launched the hunting dog website, huntingdawgs.com,
It used to be called Terriernetwork.com, due to
being a one person administrator and work obligations,
the site just sat out there, trolling the internet
for over a year, fortunately in 2013 the tables
have turned and the website now has a full time
administrator, a keen hunt enthusiast for over 40+
years who has had the pleasure and experience of
hunting many different hunting breeds in Ireland
and the UK and now, the USA, an all round hunt enthusiast.
are many different hunting dog websites out there
which are great, I am not trying to take anything
from anyone, I am just like any other dog hunt enthusiast,
yes I may have my few personal favorite breeds that
I like to hunt with, but as a true hunt enthusiast,
I get the same rush of adrenaline and excitement
watching any dog show it's true instincts, doing
what it is bred to do, a Jack Russell working rats,
a terrier pulling a badger, a Mountain Feist treeing
a squirrel or raccoon, a hog dog baying a boar,
a lurcher coursing the plains, a border collie rounding
up sheep or cattle, it's all very exciting and a
pleasure to watch the instinctive nature of any
breed of dog, doing what it is bred to do.
website will be set up in mind for the true hunting
dog enthusiast, we are hoping it will be a place
where you, the true hunting dog enthusiast can come
and spend quality time reading through the many
different breeds, articles, photos etc.
know that we are working on each breed section,
so to all you hunting dog breed enthusiasts out
there, if we haven't quite got around to your breed
pages, we sure would appreciate it if you would
start emailing us your breed articles, photos, website
links etc... but we will in time hope to cover every
hunting dog breed in the world.
you would like to add or include an article, photo
or web link to your breed section, we will be happy
to give you full credibility.
Submit your breed information to, firstname.lastname@example.org
you for your continued support!

dog breeds over the years, hunting In Ireland and
quite a number of years in the UK, in the North
of England, Lancashire, towns such as, Nelson, Colne,
Accrington, Oswaldtwistle etc, I feel very fortunate
to have spent quite some time living and hunting
among the people in the north of England, in my
opinion, the strong hold of the working terrier
living in the UK, was heavely involved in weekly
whippet racing, coursing hare, lamping, including
the years I have imported a number of quility dogs,
Staffordshire Bull Terriers from Northern Ireland
and South Africa to the USA, with dogs going on
to win the USA National Breed Specialty's.
have had the pleasure of owning and hunting with
some of the finest quality Jagdterriers,
Hunt Terriers) that I imported from Bulgaria
and Serbia, hunting Bobcat, Raccoon, Hog etc, also
using them for Treeing and blood trace wounded deer
and hog with excellent results..
general, I'm a big fan of all hunting and working
dogs, having been raised in a family of dog enthusiasts
and being around some of the greatest badger and
game dogs, it's all now become a way of life.
living in the USA 16 years, I am looking forward
to experiencing the dog hunt scene in another country,
meeting fellow hunt enthusiasts, exchanging stories
knowledge etc. I'm personally looking forward to
see some of these great looking bull and cur dogs
in action, treeing, squirrel and coon, baying and
catching hog etc.
open to show/bench invertations, personal hunt or
hunt compertitions, willing to travel if it fits
in with my schedule.
